Inspiration

The Warby Parker Holiday Spectacle Bazaar is an ever-changing, holiday-inspired performance space dedicated to bringing the spirit back to SoHo, in the season known for giving. The 4,000 sq ft space is blocks from our office in SoHo, the very neighborhood that has been the home of movements like Fluxus, artists like the Wooster Group, and iconic galleries like Leo Castelli.

Programming

The garage will house two yurts — one which will showcase eyewear by Warby Parker and one which will host a series of rotating products, events, and projects designed to directly engage and involve visitors. These projects will rotate on a weekly basis, beginning with publishing house McSweeney’s, who will both sell literary works and curate speaking events. Additional Bazaar curators include Best Made Company, Yestadt Millinery, and La Colombe, among others (see the full list of partners below).

Events

Below you will find just a few of the special events and activities planned for the Warby Parker Holiday Spectacle Bazaar. Check back often as more events will be added to the calendar.
  • Papabubble

    Come and Party!  |  December 21st, 4:00PM–6:00PM

Lollipops, edible sculptures, cotton candy, fudge, caramels, and lots more!

  • Yestadt Millinery

Ongoing Presence in the Yurt  |  December 26th–29th

Molly Yestadt of Yestadt Millinery will transform our holiday yurt into a fanciful hat studio. Come peruse millinery delights ranging from fedoras to cocktail fascinators to festive headbands. From 2PM to 6PM each day, Molly and her elves will hand-embroider customers’ monograms into one of Yestadt’s creations. She also will be sewing New Year’s resolutions into hat linings to keep them on your mind.

    Fiesta Hat Making  |  December 30th, 2:00PM–6:00PM

Bring your little ones for an afternoon of New Year’s hat making. Start with a classic cone party hat, then add sparkly doo-dads and fringey what-nots to build your perfect domed adornment. Afterwards, stay for the grand finale — a cocktail hour with cookies and cider for kids and sparkling adult beverages for parents. Cheers!

  • Of A Kind

Ongoing Presence in the Yurt  |  December 31th– January 7th

In celebration of our yurt occupation, Of a Kind will be selling eyeglass cases and pouches designed exclusively for this occasion by some of our favorite emerging designers: Dusen Dusen, The Hill-Side, Manimal, and Fort Makers.
