Technically, rose gold is a metal alloy created using real gold, copper, and sometimes silver. These metals combine to provide rose gold’s signature pink tint. Within eyewear, however, “rose gold” often simply refers to the color of the frame, i.e., that classic sort-of-gold, sort-of-pink color inspired by the “original” metal alloy.
